Dr Nina Champaneri

National Clinical Lead for Forensic Community CAMHS and Consultant Child & Adolescent Forensic Psychiatrist, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Nina Champaneri is a Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist currently working in a Community Forensic CAMHS service in Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust (BSMHFT) and has provided prison in-reach into the local Her Majesty’s Young Offender Institution (HM YOI). She is keen to promote assessment and management of ADHD within the Forensic CAMHS pathway where there is an over-representation of ADHD. She also provides medical input into the local neurodevelopmental pathway for young people. Nina is also a member of the NHS England CAMHS Clinical Reference group and co-chair of the national CAMHS Provider Collaborative clinical forum.
