Dr Syed Murtaza Naqvi is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Medical Lead for the Children and Young People’s Neurodevelopmental Team at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. He leads neurodevelopmental disorders pathways, with interests in evidence-based prescribing and neuroinclusive service design.
A Royal College of Psychiatrists award winner and gold-medal graduate. His publications include a NICE-aligned ADHD prescribing summary and work on supporting carers. His focus is fairer access, safer care and sustainable workforce development across ICB systems.

Guest speakers Dr Mischa Mockett, Paula Chilcott, Dr Syed Naqvi, Dr Will Daw and Mr John Bulwich will cover topics including current approaches to assessment, diagnosis and treatment, the link between ADHD and addiction and the critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. Speakers will also explore strategies for managing sleep difficulties in young people with neurodevelopmental conditions.
