Meet the Speakers

Dr Norman is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Lincoln County Hospital and Head of Service for gastroenterology at ULTH. His professional interests include inflammatory bowel disease, upper gastrointestinal physiology, advanced colonic polypectomy and medical education.
He has previously published on proton pump inhibitors and Helicobacter pylori and has a chapter in the continually updating textbook “Medicine” on drugs and the GI tract. Originally from London, he trained at St John’s College, Oxford and the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead. His gastroenterological training was in the mid-Trent region.

Dr Bijoy Sinha has been a GP partner for many years. He is a trainer for GPs, foundation doctors, and medical students as well as a Training Programme Director for the Lincolnshire GP training scheme based at Boston. In addition, he is an appraiser and the GP tutor for South Lincolnshire GP Forum. He has been a primary care research champion and has a longstanding interest in GP education and research, as well as primary-secondary care interface working.
