Meet the Speakers
Dr Munib Haroon is a consultant community paediatrician and the lead for ASD and ADHD at the Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. He is the author of three textbooks including ‘ABC of Autism’ and ‘ABC of Neurodevelopmental Disorders’ which is also being translated into Chinese. His next book on a similar topic is aimed at the public.
His main research interests lie in evidence-based medicine, and he has published several systematic reviews including for the Cochrane Collaboration and has previously co-authored the Guideline Development Handbook published by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. He has been chief and principal investigator in National Institute for Health Research portfolio studies and spoken to professionals in the judiciary and the recruitment industry in the UK and EU on adjustments for neurodivergent people.
