My name is Mike. I am the proud parent of neuro-diverse children, now adults. I qualified as an RMN in 1988, found CAMHS in 1990 and have stayed for the last 33 years, 20 of those years working in Youth Offending and 4 years in Substance Misuse. I became a Non-Medical Prescriber in 2014. I was recognised as an advanced nurse prescriber in 2019 for my diagnostic and prescribing expertise. As you will be aware prevalence of neurodiversity is high in these populations, I am now moving to work solely in the adult ADHD field.
